360Heros to demo “immersive dome theaters” at NAB
360Heros, a New York-based company specializing in 360 content capture, is set to showcase 360 video and virtual reality content solutions alongside immersive dome theaters from The Elumenati at NAB later this month.
360Heros, which is exhibiting as part of the Virtual and Augmented Reality Pavilion at NAB, will be hard to miss –its stand will feature its 40-foot 360RV, which the firm describes as a “mobile VR/360 tech center”.
The company will also be showcasing its patented Plug-N-Play holders and will be showing content created with its solutions via head mounted displays (HMD) as well as an immersive environment from its partners at The Elumenati.
The Elumenati helped pioneer the field of immersion, and continues to innovate with immersive displays and interactive software to support and expand VR experiences, according to 360Heros.
“In our NAB space, groups of 5-15 can experience immersive 360-degree content together in Elumenati’s 4m GeoDome Panorama. Interactive content powered by their WorldViewer software will showcase our 360 media,” the company said in a blog post.
360Heros’ founder and CEO, Michael Kintner, is also set to take part in a NAB Show Live segment discussing VR production. The conference session, called The Nuts & Bolts of VR Production, will take place from 1-2PM, on Tuesday, April 19.
